Who is Jahangir Mirshekari?

Jahangir Mirshekari is an Iranian Sound recordist.

Born at Abadan, he graduated from IRIB Faculty in 1972, and began working in cinema with Bashu, the Little Stranger. He worked in TV as assistant sound recordist, and as a prominent sound recordist in Iranian cinema, received the prizes from the Fajr International Film Festival for Where Is My Friend’s Home?, The Lodgers, Under the Roofs of the City, The Actor, Land of the Sun and Born under Libra.
