Who is Jaime Lyn Bauer?

Jaime Lyn Bauer is an American soap opera actress.

The one time Miss Phoenix beauty contest winner is best known for her two long-running soap roles: Lorie Brooks on The Young and the Restless, which she played from 1973 to 1982 with reprises in 1984 and 2002, and Dr. Laura Spencer Horton on Days of our Lives. Replacing Rosemary Forsyth in the role, she played Laura from 1993 to 1999 with reprisals in 2003 and 2010.

In 1983, she had a role in the short-lived NBC prime time soap opera Bare Essence.

Jaime has appeared in the motion pictures, Young Doctors in Love and The Centerfold Girls, and in the TV films The Girl Who Came Gift Wrapped, The Chinese Typewriter, Mysterious Island of Beautiful Women, Where the Hell's That Gold? and Pray TV. In addition, she appeared in the TV mini-series, Secrets.

Jaime has guest starred on numerous primetime TV shows, including The Rookies, S.W.A.T., The F.B.I., Bronk, Baretta, Kate McShane, CHiPS, Time Express, Lottery, Mike Hammer, The Young Riders, Fantasy Island, The Love Boat, Hotel and Knots Landing.
