Who was James d'Orma Braman?
James d'Orma "Dorm" Braman was the 45th mayor of Seattle, Washington from 1964 to 1969. He was the last Republican mayor of Seattle. Previously, mayors were elected for a term of four years, but because of a change in the date of election to odd-numbered years, Braman served five and a half years.
