Who is James Duplacey?

James Duplacey is the author of over 50 books on sport and culture, including Images of Glory, Muhammad Ali: Athlete, Activist, Ambassador, Hockey Superstars, Hockey's Hottest, Hockey's Book of Firsts, The Love of Hockey, The Armchair Book of Information, The Ultimate Prize and Maple Leaf Magic. A graduate of the University of New Brunswick, Mr. Duplacey was a professional actor for six years, appearing on stages across Canada at Theatre New Brunswick, The National Arts Center and The Great Canadian Theatre Company. The former Curator of the Hockey Hall of Fame and Museum and the Managing Editor of the Official NHL Guide and Record Book, James is currently residing in Calgary, Alberta where he preparing humorous anecdotes and wise and witty pearls of wisdom for the Armchair Reader series of informative and innovative books, writes a daily blog about the Calgary Flames for Rototimes.com and Examiner.com and contributes weekly essays on sport and culture for Fanball.com.
