Who was James Harvey Logan?

James Harvey Logan was a judge in Santa Cruz, California. He was District Attorney in the 1870s and a Superior Court Judge during the 1880s and 1890s. He is credited with the creation of the loganberry as a cross between the raspberry and the blackberry.
