Dr. James “Jim” Linder, MD, has been named to serve as interim president of the University of Nebraska system effective May 1, 2014. A noted author, academic and business leader, Linder is an American authority on university research commercialization, and serves as president of the University Technology Development Corp. He is also a professor of pathology and microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
