Who is Jamie Moore?
Jamie Moore is a retired professional boxer from Walkden, Salford and is the former European light middleweight champion. Moore fights at Light Middleweight but has competed in the divisions either side.
He is a former two-time British Light Middleweight Champion and a former Commonwealth Champion. He vacated the British crown in December 2007 to concentrate on the European title, which he won in March 2009 by stopping former world champion Michele Piccirillo in the 3rd round. He announced his retirement on the 12th of April 2010, coming to this decision following medical advice from the British Boxing Board of Control.
