Who is Jan Kopp?
Jan Kopp in Pforzheim, Germany, is a German composer for contemporary music. He also works as an essayist and teacher. The focus of his artificial works lies in contemporary composing. He was a pupil of Wolfgang Rihm, Helmut Lachenmann und Marco Stroppa. In addition to composing and reflecting "Neue Musik" within articles and broadcast-manuskripts he is interested in making ordinary people familiar with artwork, which is usually receted only by specialists. For that reason Kopp is engaged in several school projects.
