Who was Jan Zawiejski?

Jan Zawiejski, born Jan Baptysta Feintuch, was a Polish architect, representative of the 19th century historism advocating the return to classical design of the past.

His most notable design works include Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków, School of Economics, Ohrenstein House at corner of Stradom and Dietla Street build for Moshe Löbel Ohrenstein and his wife Reizel Wald of Kraków, Stary Dom Zdrojowy in Krynica and his own house, the so-called Dom Jasny in Kraków.
