Who is Jana Dukátová?
Jana Dukátová is a Slovak slalom canoeist who has competed since the late 1990s. She won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with three golds, three silvers and a bronze.
She has won the overall World Cup title four times the women's K-1 category.
At the European Championships she has won a total of 11 medals.
Dukátová qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London after defeating double Olympic Champion Elena Kaliská in the Slovak selection process, four years after having lost to Kaliská in the selection trials for the 2008 Olympics. Eventually she finished in 6th place in the K-1 event in London.
