He was born in Sultanganj while he served the land of Champaran making that place as his workplace. He held various positions of reader/ head of department of economics, M.S. College and principal of JN Memorial college, Ghorasahan. He has been a one of the longest serving journalist whose career in journalism has spread over five decades.
