Jane Gilbert

Who is Jane Gilbert?

Jane Gilbert is a Canadian journalist/news anchor. She has reported for CTV affiliate CJOH, the Global Television Network and CBC Television.

In 1989 she joined CBC Newsworld, hosting the network's inaugural show and newscast. She joined Global in 1992 and stayed until 1997. She was a co-host and senior producer on Discovery Channel Canada's @discovery.ca, now called Daily Planet.

She graduated from Carleton School of Journalism, and completed her MA at the University of Toronto.
