Who was Jane Nigh?
Bonnie Lenora "Jane" Nigh was an American actress. She was discovered in 1944 by Arthur Wenzler while working in a defense plant. She later signed a contract with Fox Studios. She appeared in more than 40 films and television shows, including State Fair, Give My Regards to Broadway and Sitting Pretty. She married and divorced three times, and had four children, two prematurely, three girls and a boy; the first, a girl, died very soon after birth in 1952. She died on October 5, 1993 of a stroke at the age of 68.
Nigh, along with Patrick McVey, co-starred in the TV series Big Town, with McVey playing the city editor of a newspaper, and Nigh his secretary.
