Janet McCracken was Provost and Dean of the Faculty at Lake Forest College until 2011. She is also a professor of philosophy, and has published a variety of works in that field, including Taste and the Household: The Domestic Aesthetic and Moral Reasoning and Thinking About Gender: A Historical Anthology.
