Who is Janet Wolfe?
Janet Wolfe is an entrepreneur and scientist who founded the privately owned Wolfe Laboratories, Inc., a contract research organization based in Watertown, Massachusetts. Wolfe founded the company in 1999 and currently serves as President. Under her tenure as President, the laboratory has experienced seven years of profitability and multi-million dollar revenue.
Wolfe runs her development and formulation operations from a large 21,000-square-foot facility located near the Longwood Medical and Academic Area.
Wolfe received her Ph.D. degree from University of Kansas in pharmaceutical chemistry and held a post doctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Wolfe also served as an assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Tennessee before relocating to Boston to form WLI.
