Who is Janine Albert?

Meteorologist ' ' ' Janine Albert ' ' ' (formerly known as Janine D'Adamo) came to WINK-TV From The Weather Channel and provides live coverage during landfalling hurricanes for WINK-TV & The Weather Channel.

Prior working at WINK-TV, Before She came to Naples, Janine was an on-air meteorologist at WCBS-TV in New York City for two years. Janine also did the weather for Television Stations was in KTVT-TV in Dallas, KTBS-TV in Shreveport, Where she was a Chief Meteorologist and WDAM-TV in Hattiesburg and also WUFT-TV in Gainesville, FL and at The Weather Channel in Atlanta.

Hurricane forecasting and chasing was janine's weather passion. She Remembers when that interest began....The Eye of a Hurricane Gloria passed over her childhood home at Dix Hills, Long Island when she was 12 years old.

Janine Studied Broadcasting & Meteorology at the University Of Florida and Mississippi State University. She holds the Television Seal Of Approval from both The American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.

Janine is a graduate of Barron Collier High School in Naples, FL, Where she was a member of the cougar marching band. She met her husband, TJ, in the University Of Florida marching band.
