Who is Janine Gray?

Janine Gray is an Indian-born actress of British descent. She guest-starred in numerous 1960s television programmes.

She was born in Bombay where her father was stationed as an oil engineer, but returned to Britain with her family when she was five years old. She married Herman Goffberg, a former athlete and businessman who was twenty years her senior. The couple divorced after a few years and he died in 2001.

Her film credits include The Americanization of Emily, The Third Day and The Pumpkin Eater.

Gray appeared in numerous television shows of the 1960s, particularly spy series. She memorably played the femme fatale Angelique in an early episode of The Man from U.N.C.L.E.. She appeared in episodes of Danger Man, The Saint, The Avengers, the Rat Patrol and Get Smart. She also made appearances in Bewitched, Twelve O'Clock High, The Loner, Wild, Wild West and Hogan's Heroes.

She is credited as the assistant to Kate Winslet in The Holiday.
