Who is Jayalath Weerakkody?
Air Chief Marshal Jayalath Weerakkody RWP, VSV, USP, ndc, psc, SLAF is a retired Sri Lanka Air Force air officer who served as commander of the Air Force from 1998 to 2002. In 2007 he was promoted to the rank of Air Chief Marshal along with 9 other former service chiefs. He is the current Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Pakistan.
