Who is Jean-François Jarrige?
Jean-François Jarrige is a French archaeologist specializing in South Asian archaeology and Sindhology. He holds a doctorate from the University of Paris in oriental archaeology. He has carried out the excavations in Baluchistan, Mehrgarh and Pirak. In 2004, he became the director of the Musée Guimet in Paris.
He is married to archaeologist Catherine Jarrige. They have two daughters.
