Who is Jean Favier?
Jean Favier is a French historian, who specializes in Medieval history. From 1975 to 1994, he was director of the French National Archives. From 1994 to 1997, he was president of the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
He is member of the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres since 1985.
