Who is Jeffrey Crane?

Jeffrey Scott Crane, BA, MBA, MPA, Ph.D., CEM, known as "Jeff", is president of SIMPEX Inc, a Strategic International Management Company located in Miami, Florida. Crane also holds academic appointments at the University of Miami, College of Medicine and Western Carolina University, and a Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, Center for National Preparedness.

Crane earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Appalachian State University in 1995. Entering graduate school at Troy State University in Bethesda, Maryland, graduating with a Master in Public Administration- Healthcare Administration in 1997. Crane then attended the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida, and was awarded a Masters in Business Administration in 2003, focused on Healthcare Administration and Management Information Systems, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health in 2005. His dissertation was titled: "Assessment of Community Healthcare Providers’ Ability and Willingness to Respond to a Bioterrorism Attack”. He also completed graduate certificates in Disaster Management, Health Care Management, and Management Information Systems.
