Who was Ginnie Wade?
Mary Virginia "Ginnie" Wade, a seamstress, was the only Gettysburg civilian killed directly during the Battle of Gettysburg.
The house where she was killed became a popular tourist attraction and museum called the "Jennie Wade House."
