Who is Jerod Ward?

Jerod Davanta Ward is an American former professional basketball player, who played power forward and center positions.

Ward was the #1 recruit in the nation coming out of Clinton, Mississippi in 1994. He signed with the University of Michigan and comprised part of its highly touted Fab Five II that included Travis Conlan, Maceo Baston, Willie Mitchell, and Maurice Taylor. Though plagued by injuries at Michigan, Ward ranked 5th in career three-point field goals.

The 6'9", 235 lbs forward has played for the Grand Rapids Hoops of the CBA, In 1998–99, he averaged 14.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game and was named to the CBA All-Rookie team. He also played for CB Granada in Spain, Cibona Zagreb and was part of the Toronto Raptors training camp in 2002.
