Who is Jerry Weyer?
Jerry Weyer is a Luxembourgian politician and activist. He was co-president of Pirate Parties International from 1 March 2010 to April 2011. He is co-founder of the Pirate Party of Luxembourg, which was founded on the 4th of October 2009. He was vice-president of the Party until 28 October 2012. Since October 2012 he is coordinator of the Parliamentary Monitoring Organization Politikercheck.lu.
Besides Samir Allioui, who became co-president together with Patrick Mächler from Switzerland in July 2009, Weyer was head of the umbrella organization of the international Pirate Party movement until the PPI conference in April 2010. At the Brussels conference in April 2010 he was elected, together with Grégory Engels, first Co-Chairman of Pirate Parties International.
He lives in Moesdorf and studied European law.
