Who is Jill Didier?

Jill Didier is a former mayor of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Didier was first elected as an alderman in 2006, defeating incumbent Ald. Alan Kopischke by just over 100 votes. She served as alderwoman for two years before being elected mayor in 2008 over Ald. Jerry Stepaniak. She took office on April 15, 2008. While in the midst of seeking reelection, Didier resigned as mayor on December 15, 2011 to accept a position as economic development coordinator in the administration of Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele.
