Who was Jin Tianhe?
Jin Tianhe was a Chinese poet and scholar. His original name was Maoji, his courtesy name was Songcen, and his hao name was Zhuangyou. He was born in Wujiang, Jiangsu. He hated the imperial examination system when he was young, and regarded the learning of statecraft. Once he had translated the flower drop dreams of 33 years,a book propagandizing Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary stories. He taught at Suzhou Guoxuehui.
Jin Tianhe is mainly famous for his poems. Qian Zhonglian considered him a great master of the poetry revolution in Jiangsu and "as important as Huang Zunxian".
He also was known as Jin Tianyu and Jin Yi.
