Joanne Cara Deakins is a retired female backstroke swimmer from Great Britain, who represented the United Kingdom at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in Barcelona, Spain. She is best known for winning the bronze medal in the women's 200 m backstroke event at the 1995 Summer Universiade in Fukuoka, Japan.
