Who is Joaquin Jackson?
Haynie Joaquin Jackson is a retired Texas Ranger most notable for his appearance on the February 1994 cover of Texas Monthly magazine, after which he became the icon of the modern Texas Rangers. Nick Nolte is said to have modeled his character in the movie Extreme Prejudice on him. He was also a personal friend of Castroville City Marshal Frank Hayes who was sentence to life in Federal Prison regarding the murder of Richard Morales. Frank Hayes stated the racial slurs according to court documents that he had killed one Mexican and was going to kill another. Richard Morales died of a double barrel sawed off shot gun blast. Haynie Joaquin Jackson wrote that Frank Hayes was a personal friend of his and he liked him.
