Who was Jocko Flynn?
John A. "Jocko" Flynn was a Major League Baseball player who played pitcher only in the 1886 season, after which he developed hip problems that kept him from pitching again. He played for the Chicago White Stockings. His 23 wins is the most ever by a pitcher who pitched in only one season in the major leagues.
