Who is Joe Blanton?
Joseph Matthew Blanton is an American former professional baseball pitcher. After playing for the University of Kentucky, Blanton was drafted by the Oakland Athletics and played for several Major League Baseball teams between 2004 and 2013. While pitching for the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2008 World Series, Blanton hit a home run and was the winning pitcher in the fourth game.
