Who is Joel Gilbert?
Joel Gilbert is an American documentary filmmaker and musician.
He is known for his Bob Dylan tribute band and for his documentaries on that musician, as well the mockumentaries Paul McCartney Really Is Dead: The Last Testament of George Harrison and Elvis Found Alive. His most recent project is a film called There's No Place Like Utopia, which looks at how the liberal policies of president Barack Obama, as well as that of long-time Democrat-controlled cities have affected America as a whole.
Gilbert is the CEO of his film production company Highway 61 Entertainment, which is located in Thousand Oaks, California. Its name is derived from Dylan's iconic album Highway 61 Revisited. It was founded in 2005.
