Who was Johannes Kotkas?
Johannes Kotkas was an Estonian amateur wrestler who won the gold medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics for the Soviet Union.
Kotkas was born in Tartu. He won the gold medal at the 1938, 1939 and 1947 European Championship. At the 1953 World Championship Kotkas won the silver medal
