Who was John Adam Hugo?

John Adam Hugo was an American composer, born in Connecticut. He composed three operas, of which one, The Temple Dancer, was performed at the Metropolitan Opera in 1919. He also wrote a symphony and a piano concerto, some chamber music, and many songs.
