John Andrews, D.D.: Colonial/American clergyman; 4th Provost, 3rd Vice Provost, and Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania; Principal of the Episcopal Academy of Philadelphia; Rector of St. Thomas Church in Garrison Forest, Baltimore County, Maryland; founder of the bases of York College of Pennsylvania; Minister of St. Peter's Episcopal Church; lecturer; and author of published textbooks and sermons. Accepted as life member of the American Philosophical Society.
