Who is John Harrower?
John Douglas Harrower is the current Anglican Bishop of Tasmania.
Harrower was educated at the University of Melbourne. After working as a petroleum engineer and industrial consultant he went to work for the Church Missionary Society in Argentina and was ordained as a deacon in 1984 and priest in 1986. He returned to Australia after nine years in Argentina and became successively the Vicar of Glen Waverley and Archdeacon of Kew before his appointment to the episcopate in 2000.
He is married to Gayelene Harrower.
