Who is John Goldingay?

John E. Goldingay is the David Allan Hubbard Professor of Old Testament in the School of Theology of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

Goldingay obtained a B.A. at the University of Oxford and a PhD at the University of Nottingham. He also has a Doctor of Divinity Lambeth degree.

Goldingay was Principal and a Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at St John's College, Nottingham. He went to Fuller Theological Seminary in 1997, where he is now David Allan Hubbard Professor of Old Testament. He is also an associate pastor at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Pasadena. Goldingay was married to Ann, who died on June 28, 2009, and has two sons.
