Who is John H. McBryde?
John H. McBryde is a United States federal judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. His chambers are in Fort Worth, Texas.
McBryde was born in Jackson, Mississippi. He received a B.S. from Texas Christian University in 1953. He received an LL.B. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1956. He was in private practice in Fort Worth from 1956 to 1990.
McBryde was nominated by President George H.W. Bush on May 11, 1990, to a seat vacated by Eldon B. Mahon. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on August 3, 1990, and received his commission on August 7, 1990.
