Who is John Holton?

John Holton has extensive experience in the design, development, sales and

support of healthcare information systems. He was co-founder of the Atwork

Corporation. Over a 12-year period, he built Atwork into the industry leader in

healthcare scheduling and management systems, providing systems to more than

2,000 hospitals in the United States and 400 in Europe. Under his direction,

Atwork twice made the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing private companies.

Prior to founding Atwork, John was on the administrative staff at Alta Bates

Hospital serving the nursing, laboratory and information systems areas. He also

was a member of the academic staff at the University of California-Berkeley,

where he conducted research on Utilization Review and Quality Assurance in

healthcare. During that time, John authored eight articles on utilization

review. He holds a Bachelor's in History and a Master's in Engineering from the

University of Wisconsin.
