Who was John Howard Harris?
John Howard Harris was president of Bucknell University from 1889–1919.
After serving in the Civil War, he attended the University at Lewisburg and graduated in 1869 with a BA. In 1889 he was inaugurated as President of Bucknell University. He was president for 30 years.
