Who was John Jansson?

Karl Johan Erik "John" Jansson was a Swedish diver, who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics, 1920 Summer Olympics and 1924 Summer Olympics.

In the 1912 Olympics he won a bronze medal in the plain high diving event, was seventh in the 3 metre springboard event and seventh in his first round heat in the 10 metre platform event and did not advance.

Eight years later he won a bronze medal in the plain high diving event and was sixth in the 3 metre springboard event.

Four years later he won a silver medal in the plain high diving event.
