Who is John Joe O'Shea?

John Joe O'Shea is an Irish darts player.

O'Shea first qualified for the World Professional Darts Championship in 1984, beating Alex MacKinnon in the first round before losing to John Lowe in the second round. O'Shea returned to Lakeside nine years later in 1993 but lost in the first round to defending world champion Phil Taylor.

O'Shea also played in the Winmau World Masters four times, making his debut in 1982 and beat Kevin Mullaney in the first round before losing to Eric Bristow. He played again in the tournament in 1983, 1984 and 1991, losing in the first round each time.
