Who was John Lagrand?
John Lagrand was een Nederlands muzikant. Hij werd voornamelijk bekend als mondharmonicaspeler in Livin' Blues en Cuby + Blizzards.
Lagrand werd geboren in Den Haag. Hij speelde onder andere in de bands Livin' Blues, Freelance Band, Muskee en Water. Tot 1999 speelde Lagrand in Cuby + Blizzards, daarna was hij veelvuldig gastmuzikant, zoals bij Anouk. Hij was erelid van de stichting Blues aan de Zee.
Hij overleed op 30 juni 2005 in het Amsterdamse VU ziekenhuis aan de gevolgen van longemfyseem. Lagrand werd 56 jaar.
