John Lambton, 5th Earl of Durham, styled Lord Lambton between 1928 and 1929, was a British peer.

He is best remembered for the donation of Penshaw Monument to the National Trust.

Lord Durham married twice:

1 to Diana Farquhar, with whom he had two sons

John, Viscount Lambton

Antony Lambton, who succeeded his father as 6th Earl of Durham.

2 to Hermione Bullough, daughter and sole heir of Sir George Bullough, 1st Baronet. They had one son John George Lambton.
