Who is John Turner?
John L. Turner is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected by the Houston Rockets in the 1st round of the 1991 NBA Draft. A 6'8" power forward from Allegany Community College and Phillips University, Turner played in only one NBA season. He played for the Rockets during the 1991-92 NBA season, appearing in 42 games and averaging 2.8 points per game. After his rookie year, the Rockets agreed to release Turner so he could go to Spain to play for CAI Zaragoza.
