Who is Jonathan M Rourke?
Jonathan Rourke joined Viacor in August 2002 as
Chief Operating Officer, and was promoted to Chief
Executive officer in June 2004. Previously, Jonathan
was Vice President of Research and Development
at TransMedics Incorporated, and prior to that
VP RD at EndoTex Interventional Systems. At EndoTex,
he directed the product definition and development
of the NexStent™ Carotid stent and delivery system
through the initiation of a strategic partnership
with Boston Scientific. From 1991 to 1999, Jonathan
held management and development positions with
Hewlett-Packard Company. Previously, Jonathan
spent ten years in engineering management and consulting
at Arthur D. Little and the Draper Laboratory.
Jonathan has a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from
Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in
Mechanical Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
