Who is Jorge Jesus?

Jorge Fernando Pinheiro de Jesus is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a right midfielder, and the current manager of S.L. Benfica.

He started his career with Sporting, going on to play for 12 other clubs in 17 years as a professional, which included nine Primeira Liga seasons.

In 1990 Jesus began a coaching career, and his first stop in the main category was with Felgueiras in the 1995–96 campaign. He went on to work with several teams, arriving at Benfica in 2009 and winning seven major titles during his spell.
