Who was Jorgen Moeller?

Jorgen Moeller was a Danish chess master.

Möller was twice a Nordic Champion, winning at Copenhagen 1899 and at Göteborg 1901.

At the beginning of his career, he tied for 4-5th at Copenhagen 1895, took 2nd, behind Sven Otto Svensson, at Stockholm 1897, and took 4th at Copenhagen 1907.

In 1920, he tied for 13-14th in Göteborg. In 1923, he took 6th in Copenhagen.

His name is attached to the Moeller Attack in the Giuoco Piano and the Moeller Defense in the Ruy Lopez.
