Who is Jörn Großkopf?

Jörn Großkopf is a German former football player.

Großkopf, nicknamed "Krümel", made his Bundesliga footballing debut for FC St. Pauli on 22 October 1988 as a last-minute substitute in a 1–0 home win over Borussia Dortmund. He went on to score two goals in 30 appearances for the Hamburg-based team. Sixteen years later, Großkopf returned to Millerntor to take over the reins of FC St. Pauli's under-19 youth team and on 15 January 2009, took over as head coach of FC St. Pauli's reserve team, helping them gain promotion from the Oberliga Hamburg to the Regionalliga Nord in his first season. In July 2013 he was appointed as manager of Hessen Kassel.
