Who is Joseph Amlong?
Joseph Amlong is an American competition rower and Olympic champion, and later a military officer. His brother Thomas Amlong was also a rower and Olympic champion.
Amlong won a gold medal in coxed eights at the 1964 Summer Olympics, as a member of the American team.
