Who is Joseph Dare?
Joseph Dare, is an Australian rules footballer, formerly rookie-listed at the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League.
Dare primarily plays as a tallish defender. He hails from Colac, Victoria, and joined the Geelong Falcons in the TAC Cup in 2009 at the age of 16, playing 22 games and winning the club's Best and Fairest award.
Although aged only 17 and therefore still eligible for another season of TAC Cup, Dare was recruited as a rookie by the Carlton Football Club with its second round selection in the 2010 AFL rookie draft,. Dare played exclusively for Carlton's VFL-affiliate, the Northern Bullants, for two seasons, and was delisted at the end of 2011.
Dare played for Cobden in the Hampden Football League from 2012 until 2013, winning the league best and fairest award, the Maskell Medal, in 2012, in a four-way tie which included his brother Levi. In 2014, he moved to the Colac Football Club in the Geelong Football League.
